DrakeElvin has joined the team, to create one of the companions of the mod. Drake is the creator of Amigo Cafe, which is an amazing mod that serves as a template for anyone to create their own companion mod. It couldn't be any easier! In short, he's an expert at creating companions, so he's the ideal person for the job.
He's currently looking for people to test his new Beta version of Amigo Cafe, so if you can help, click on the link above, download his beta version, and test out the new features that are listed in the readme.

The Boulder DOME
The Dome itself so far. Includes custom base and entrance-way models and textures by DonKnotts.
I'm wondering about the top of the Dome: it looks good and all, but since I'm getting handy with Sketchup, it would be nice to have a completely original Dome, rather than borrowing parts from the vanilla game. Will have to think about it some. Share your thoughts though!

Mesa Lab, Boulder
So the sketch-up model is pretty much complete now. I'll be doing some subtle changes in Blender, and then we'll move on to textures. More details will be added to it in the Geck, either with vanilla or custom objects.
Excuse the quality of the image, sketchup renders a bit crap unless close-up (it might be my girlfriend's crap pc though....... that I gave her, lol.)

Google Sketchup
I've started working on some landmarks of Boulder, using Google Sketchup. It's a very easy to use program. After I've finished the rough models in Sketchup, I can export it as a file Blender can understand, so in Blender I can set up the UV maps and create collision, etc, and export it as a nif, ready for the game.
Here's one I've started:
It's the start of the Centre For Atmospheric Research in Boulder. Below you can see a picture of the real building:
Never fear hard-surface modelling again! Boulder has some very nice-looking architecture, so it should be a lot of fun and be visually appealing in the end. I hope I can do it justice.
No doubt DonKnotts will be able to create some awesome textures for the landmarks!

Bananas!
These apes can be found outside Boulder, in a brain research facility, where the brains of these apes have been experimented on. Do you dare wake them from their cryogenic, 'cold sleep'? (In the images, they are just in a testing location.)
Models and textures created by NateNeurotic.
Official Mod Thread Started
I've just created the work-in-progress thread on the Nexus forums, CLICK HERE to go there. It contains a lot of images that I've not shown you yet, including chimpanzees and an orangutan.
